TESTIMONIALS

The With Your Help children's book series, written by Daniela Ferrante and Dina Russo-De Cotiis, is a wonderful joy-filled series that teaches young children independence and encourages curiosity.

I Can Do It Myself, I Learn Every Day and I Feel Happy each share ideas very important to Early Childhood Education and are delivered in an engaging, poetic form.

The illustrations by Michael Petherick are delightful and bring out the joy that these books naturally express.

It’s a wonderful series to introduce your young children to the concepts pioneered by Maria Montessori. I feel certain that you and your children will want to read them again and again.

~ Suzanne L. Brown, aka Suzie Sunshine, Singer, Entertainer, Composer and Author

These beautifully illustrated books capture a child's need for exploration and independence under the watchful eye of an encouraging, supportive caregiver. By giving a child the space and time to practice and master what was shown, the child has the opportunity to work through the struggles and experience the joyful moments of triumph. These are the everyday experiences that can help build a child's sense of self-a self that includes the internal message, “I can do it!”

The lovely series With Your Help, provides the principles for instilling confidence and nurturing self-reliance in children, across all educational environments.

Thanks to the wonderfully inspired illustrations, any child who engages with these books will feel they too "can do it" with a little help from a parent, caregiver or teacher. I have personally seen how engaged a child becomes while being read this series, and the smile remaining on their face after the stories are read is quite a delight to see.

Throughout my career in education spanning over 50 years, mostly as a principal in junior elementary schools, I have witnessed the profound changes that occur when a child is given the opportunity to achieve by themselves, through positive encouragement. The self-confidence, respect for others, and independence they learn in these formative years carries forward throughout their entire lives, helping make them happy, successful, whole individuals.
